Radio - Reggie Yates
The institution is BBC radio 1 and I have chosen the show Reggie Yates. Reggie Yates is broadcasted every Saturdays from 4pm-7pm. Reggie himself is the presenter of his show. Reggie is an accomplished actor who has starred many TV shows such as 'Doctor Who', 'The Crust' and many more. Furthermore Reggie is a presenter as well as a DJ.
I think that this show is targeted at kids, teenagers and music lovers. This is because the show is mainly regarding about music eg "Request A Song" and "Top Banana Tracks", now a days we see kids and teenagers listening to music frequently suggesting that this show will suit them. Also the page itself links to the target audience. The use of light purple and blue sends a feeling of relaxation and peace which teenagers, especially like to feel as a result of stress over exams and their social life. Stereotypically we assume teenagers love to text constantly and be on the phone and this is indicated by the stack of CD's and the mobile phone being held by a hand (made out of statue) adds further evidence that this show is targeted at teenagers and young kids.
